EVENTS DESCRIPTION:

PAPER PRESENTATION:

Paper Presentation is all about how you put your topic or present your topic in front of the public. We see the way you present it. The way you put your points. Your way and the style of presenting the paper. The language you present the topic in. Then you have to prepare the "Abstract". Abstract- It is the details in short i.e not exceeding more than two pages. Then you have to make the hard and the soft copy. One hard copy you have to submit to the place of the presentation. and one with you. Hard copy is the print pages of the detail of the topic. The submission of full paper with abstract should be sent to our mail id (yaanthrikamaaya15@gmail.com) on or before the deadline (Last Date -23.03.2015) Your presentation should not exceed more than 7 minutes. A team shall consist of maximum of two persons.

cad Modeling:

Want to design on the CAD modeling software(Autocad & Creo)? This is it, an event where you show begins how strong you are in design practices. Participants are required to design a model for which will be declared on the spot. The competition of producing a output model given in drawing by using software(Autocad & Creo). A work evaluation is done on the basis of time required, and dimensional accuracy. A team shall consist of maximum of two persons.

WATER ROCKETRY:

All participants should make their water rockets and launch them at the designated places. All participants should bring their own rocket. The participants are encouraged to be creative in designing nose cones and fins of their water rockets. At the time of launch, each participant must adjust the volume of water. Within the maximum limit to be notified by the organizer,the participant must also adjust the air pressure. A team shall consist of maximum of two persons.

Technical quiz:

Only team entries are eligible. A team shall consist of maximum of two persons.The decision of the quiz-master will be final and will not be subjected to any change.The participants shall not be allowed to use mobile or other electronic instruments.The questions shall be in the form of multiple choice,   True / False statement, Specific-answer question,etc.Audience shall not give any hints or clues to the participants. Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration.

Lathe machining:

“Unleash your machining skills, and let in to the groove of screeching rhythms of turning, facing, tapering and all you can do in a lathe club”. Want to perform operations on the lathe machine? This is it, an event where you show begins how strong you are in workshop practices. Participants are required to perform set of operations on the job using lathe machine problem statement for which will be declared on the spot. The competition of producing a mechanical component given in drawing by using lathe machine. A work evaluation is done on the basis of surface finish, time required, and dimensional accuracy. Several operations like facing, taper turning, parting etc will be included in the drawing. A team shall consist of maximum of two persons.

Project Expo:

Project Expo is all about how you put your innovative ideas and present your project in front of the public. Your way and the style of presenting the project. The language you present the topic in. Then you have to prepare the "Abstract". Abstract- It is the details in short i.e not exceeding more than two pages. Then you have to make the hard and the soft copy. One hard copy you have to submit to the place of the presentation. and one with you. Hard copy is the print pages of the detail of the topic.
